Support
Sequence, by Road Noise Records
Sequence is a fan list, a ticket seller and a door scanner for working musicians. The app gives you your workspace on your phone: who is coming, who your people are, and what happened at the show. If something here does not answer your question, email us and a human will reply.
Get in touch
Email support@road-noise.com. We answer within 2 business days, usually sooner. Tell us your artist name and what you were doing when it went wrong.
You can also report a bug from inside the app. Open More, then Report a bug. That sends us the screen you were on and what the app was doing just before, which is usually enough to find the problem without any back and forth.
Signing in
Sign in with Google or with the email and password you set when you created your account. The app keeps you signed in, so you should only do this once per device.
If you are locked out, email us from the address on the account and we will sort it.
Getting paid
Ticket and merch money goes to your own Stripe account, not to ours. You connect Stripe once from the app or the web dashboard, and Stripe pays out to your bank on its normal schedule. Payouts show as "Sequence" on your statement.
Card details are handled by Stripe. We never see them.
At the show
At the show scans the QR code on a ticket and checks that person in. It needs camera access. A ticket only scans in once, so a screenshot passed to a friend will not get them through the door twice. The app tells you when a code has already been used.
Scanning needs a connection, so if the venue has no signal you will need to work off the guest list until it comes back.
Your fans and your data
Your fan list is yours. Export it to CSV whenever you want from the Fans page on the web dashboard, and take it with you if you leave. We do not sell it, rent it, or market to your people on our own behalf.
Every marketing email you send through Sequence carries your sender details and a one-click unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 requires. Unsubscribes are honoured across everything you send.
Deleting your account
In the app, open More and choose Delete account under Account. On the web, it is at the bottom of Settings, where you type DELETE to confirm. Either way it asks you once more before it does anything.
Deleting your account closes any workspace you are the last owner of, cancels its billing, takes its public pages down, and removes your sign-in. Your fan list goes with it, so export anything you want to keep first. Workspaces you share with another owner stay with them, and you are simply removed.
